OUR HISTORY
Markus was founded by Markus Knoblauch, swiss origin and Pablo Torterolo, north american. Markus opened its doors in Recoleta, avenida Callao y Santa Fe, on the 21st of june 2004. Markus and Pablo believed that Buenos Aires needed an exclusively for men spa. They understood that a new generation needed a spa that would understand and cater to their needs.
At the time, masculine beauty was uncharted territory. The first step was to create a spa for men to feel comfortable in and treat themselves to massages and actual aesthetics services, such as facial skin treatment, botox, fillers, dismish love handles, hair removal, manicure. A place where no one would judge them, a place to feel at home and relax while being treated with the best professionals.
Masculine beauty then badly needed an injection of fun and whimsicality which is why markus developed the best man´s day spa in latin american. Word of mouth quickly spread and in a matter of years, markus has been recognized and highly recommended by it´s clientele throughout the world.
